SEC Commissioner Elad Roisman is set to play a leading role in agency work to update the infrastructure and process behind shareholder voting at public companies.
The Republican has agreed to lead Securities and Exchange Commission efforts to improve this so-called proxy plumbing and other parts of the proxy system, agency Chairman Jay Clayton said in a Feb. 6 telephone call with SEC Investor Advisory Committee members.
