Power Solutions’ Ex-CEO, Others Win Accounting Fraud Bench Trial

Power Solutions International Inc.'s former CEO and two others are free of criminal accounting fraud allegations following a bench trial, according to acquittal orders entered on the docket Tuesday in federal court in Illinois.

Prosecutors in 2019 accused Garry S. Winemaster, Craig M. Davis, and James F. Needham of scheming to defraud investors by artificially inflating the manufacturer’s revenue. Judge Robert W. Gettleman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois found the defendants not guilty on all counts.
