Activision’s Early End to ‘Destiny’ Partnership Leads to Suit

Game developer Activision Blizzard Inc. didn’t tell investors it was ending a 10-year partnership with another video game firm two years early, investors said Jan. 18.

Activision misled shareholders about its partnership with Bungie Inc., the company it teamed up with for the ‘Destiny’ series of science fiction video games, according to a would-be class suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
