Ohio Builder Faces $121K in Fines for Fall Hazards

An Ohio contractor with a history of exposing workers to fall hazards has been cited again by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration.

Winesburg Builders Ltd. has been issued two willful, two repeat and three serious violations following an inspection of its construction site in Kanawha County, W.Va., the agency said April 7. At the site, OSHA inspectors observed workers performing roofing and framing without protection at heights of up to 22 feet.
