Indoor Heat Citations Affirmed by Cal/OSHA Appeals Board

California’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health prevailed in an “unprecedented” appeal over its decision to issue serious citations to two companies that failed to address indoor heat hazards as part of their required worker safety programs, the division announced Nov. 2 (Nat’l Distrib. Ctr., LP v. Tri-State Staffing, Cal. OSHAB, 12-R6D2-0378, 10/5/15).
