An Immigration and Customs Enforcement special agent will have another chance to show he was wrongfully discharged for assisting a whistleblower co-worker, the First Circuit said, ruling on an issue of first impression for the circuit.
The Whistleblower Protection Act only requires that a worker include enough facts to enable the Merit Systems Protection Board to investigate the claim, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit said Aug. 29. The petitioner, Jason Mount, complied with this requirement, the court said.
