GOP Labor Policy Attorney Joins OSHA as Chief of Staff

There’s more political leadership at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Attorney Krisann Pearce has been named OSHA’s chief of staff, the agency said Feb. 11.

Before joining OSHA, Pearce was for almost eight years general counsel at the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, serving while the Republican Party controlled the House, according to her LinkedIn resume. She also was a staff member with the Senate labor committee in the mid-1990s and in private practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from 2006 through 2009.
