Florida Roofing Company Fined $213,000
For Willful Violations of Fall Protection Rules

ATLANTA—The Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Collis Roofing Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla., for three willful safety violations and one serious safety violation, with proposed penalties of $213,300, for exposing workers to falls and other hazards.

The incidents occurred at three residential sites in Jacksonville, Oviedo, and Palm Harbor, where Collis Roofing Inc., based in Longwood, was completing roofing work.
