The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Florida Roofing Experts Inc. for a willful violation of fall protection standards at a Jacksonville, Fla., construction site, the agency said April 3. OSHA proposed the maximum permitted fine of $132,598.
Florida Roofing Experts and its owner, Travis Slaughter, have continuously faced fines for breaking fall protection rules. The company was cited for a willful violation of the standard in November at a work site in St. Augustine, Fla., carrying a proposed fine of $129,336.
