Florida McDonald’s Workers to Protest Attack on Employee (1)

Fast-food workers in the St. Petersburg, Fla., area will walk out of the lunch rush on Jan. 8 to protest physical violence and safety threats at work, according to a Fight for $15 statement. The strike is in response to a viral video of a St. Petersburg McDonald’s worker being attacked by a customer.
