Federal Lawsuit Seeks $679K in Safety Fines From Construction Co.

The federal government is seeking to force a New Jersey construction company to pay a $678,503 penalty stemming from several Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspections.

Frame Q LLC, based in Palisades Park, N.J., was sued Feb. 6 by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. The lawsuit seeks to enforce eight penalty claims against Frame Q dating to 2014.

The lawsuit doesn’t include a Jan. 4 OSHA case with proposed fines totaling $261,241.
