Employers Raise Liability Concerns Over Return-to-Work Plan

Two leading business groups are raising concerns that the White House’s plan for reopening the economy could create increased liability issues for employers, particularly as critical safety gear remains in short supply.

The National Association of Manufacturers called Tuesday for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and other federal agencies to clarify the requirements employers will need to meet under the White House’s three-stage “Opening Up America Again” plan.
