Biden Taps Obama Alum to Head DOL’s Disability Employment Office

President Joe Biden plans to nominate former Obama administration official Taryn Williams to be the U.S. Labor Department’s assistant secretary for disability employment policy, the White House said Friday.

Williams is a former chief of staff at the DOL’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, which she would lead if confirmed by the Senate. She held that role from 2014 through 2016.
