Toymaker MGA Gets Consumer’s ‘Glamper’ Injury Risk Claims Tossed

MGA Entertainment Inc. defeated a proposed class action alleging a $90 glamour-camping RV toy poses an injury risk to children because the consumer failed to adequately plead a breach of warranty on his third try, a federal court in California ruled.

Adam Sensney won’t be able to re-plead again, Judge Joseph C. Spero said Dec. 10 for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Sensney originally sued MGA together with another consumer, Robin Watkins. They alleged that sections of the 2-in-1 Glamper Fashion Camper, part of MGA’s L.O.L. Surprise! line, were designed to detach from each other ...
