Objector Issue Plugs Up Target Flushable Wipes Deal

A Target Corp. settlement over allegedly not-so-flushable wipes will be held up a little longer before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit can hear an objector’s appeal.

The trial court required objector Erich Neumann to post an $80,000 bond in case he loses his appeal. Neumann fought the bond requirement but didn’t get a reasoned explanation from the lower court when it turned down his arguments, the Sixth Circuit said Nov. 29.
