NYU Wants Tisch Asia Student Deception Suit Held for Appeal

New York University says a suit alleging it deceived students who attended its defunct Tisch Asia program should be put on hold to see if the students’ class status can be immediately appealed.

It wouldn’t be efficient to proceed before learning whether the Second Circuit will allow an appeal of the decision that certified a class of students who attended the Singapore-based program, NYU said in a filing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
