MLB Sued by Ex-Pitcher Over Ban of His Elk Antler Supplements

A company that sells elk antler health supplements sued Major League Baseball in San Francisco federal court, saying MLB banned its supplements while profiting from relationships with its competitors.

Ex-pitcher Neiman Nix and his company, DNA Sports Performance Lab Inc., accused MLB Thursday of engaging in unfair competition by “intentionally harming the sales of DNA of nutritional supplements while benefiting from the sales of competing products by MLB’s sponsors and partners.”
