MLB All-Star Game Stays in Denver as Relocation Lawsuit Dropped

Major League Baseball is free from a lawsuit by a conservative advocacy group over its decision to relocate the All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver in response to Georgia’s new restrictive voter law.

Job Creators Network dropped the suit 11 days after the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York denied its bid to force the league to return the game to Atlanta.

The complaint alleged that businesses in the Atlanta metro region stood to earn $100 million from the All-Star Game and were deprived of their civil rights when it was relocated.
