Marijuana Dispensary Says Lead in Rollers Cost It $25 Million

A Los Angeles marijuana dispensary filed a $25 million product liability action against a manufacturer of cigarette rolling machines and a smoking product wholesaler for selling machines allegedly contaminated with lead.

Little Cottage Caregivers filed the suit against BBK Tobacco & Foods Inc., doing business as HBI International, and Smoke Toke LLC in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Little Cottage alleges it purchased 18 boxes of HBI’s “Juicy Cigar Rollers” from Smoke Toke to be used at the dispensary in preparation of their “pre-rolls.”
