Ghirardelli ‘Classic White’ Baking Chips Label Not Misleading

Ghirardelli Chocolate Co.'s “Premium Baking Chips Classic White Chips” packaging doesn’t fool consumers into thinking the chips contain real white chocolate, the Northern District of California said.

Linda Cheslow and Steven Prescott alleged they bought the chips under the impression they were getting a superior product that contained white chocolate. However, they alleged, the chips aren’t made with cocoa butter but rather with inferior-quality ingredients.
