Cook Medical Inc. won dismissal of what would have been the second federal test case to be tried over its blood-clot trapping filters.
The company won the first test trial in November 2017 in federal litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Some 3,800 cases are pending in multidistrict proceedings in the same court. The next test case is set for trial Sept. 10.
