Buyer Not Harmed by Alleged Mislabeling, Diamond CBD Says

A Florida woman’s claims that the amount of CBD in oil and gummies didn’t match the amount on the label are “a class action in search of an injury,” Diamond CBD Inc. told a federal court in Florida.

Kathryn Potter alleged Diamond and others misrepresented the amount of CBD in oil, infused gummy worms, and gummy slices. She sought to represent consumers in Florida and nationwide who bought various CBD-infused products.

But she “tries to make her case by sleight of hand,” Diamond said in asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to dismiss or pause ...
