A class settlement giving partial refunds to Beck’s Pilsner purchasers who allege they were misled into thinking the U.S.-produced beer was still brewed in Germany garnered final court approval over two objectors (Marty v. Anheuser-Busch Cos., S.D. Fla., 13-23656, 10/22/15).
Judge John J. O’Sullivan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida granted final approval of the class settlement Oct. 22. The agreement doesn’t limit the total amount that Anheuser-Busch Cos. may become obligated to pay, but includes per-household limits.
