Zoom Video Communications Inc. is delaying until later this year its first report detailing how frequently the company discloses information about its users to governments.
“We have made significant progress” on preparing the report, Zoom’s Chief Executive Officer Eric Yuan said in a blog post Wednesday. “We look forward to providing the fiscal Q2 data in our first report later this year.”
Privacy advocates are anticipating the release of the report after the popular conferencing app maker said last month it had suspended, then reactivated, the account of a U.S.-based group of Chinese pro-democracy activists.
