Christopher Chiou, a former acting US Attorney in Nevada, has joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as a partner in Los Angeles, the law firm announced Tuesday.
Chiou was a lead attorney on the investigation and prosecution of cyber intrusions, according to the firm. He also served on a nationwide task force to improve the Justice Department’s efforts to combat hate crime, the firm said.
He was formerly a partner in the Los Angeles office of Jenner & Block before joining the DOJ in 2019, Wilson Sonsini said.
