T-Mobile Breach to Be Probed by Massachusetts Attorney General

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey (D) has launched an investigation into T-Mobile US Inc. following a data breach from this summer that affected millions of customers’ personally identifiable information.

The investigation is aimed at determining whether Bellevue, Wash.-based T-Mobile had proper safeguards in place to protect consumer and mobile device information, Healey announced Tuesday.
