SolarWinds Makes Cyber a Priority for Key GOP Lawmaker (1)

Cyber attacks are the “preeminent national security threat” to the U.S. and need to become a key focus for the House Homeland Security Committee this Congress, the panel’s new ranking member said.

Last year’s foreign intrusion into the federal government’s online infrastructure shook the U.S., and is a bipartisan issue that could gain traction in the 117th Congress as lawmakers look to prevent future breaches.
