Reproductive Medicine Chain Moves to Quash Ransomware Lawsuit

A proposed class action against a reproductive medicine chain following a ransomware hit should be axed because the plaintiffs didn’t adequately allege injury, the company is arguing in Pennsylvania federal court.

Plaintiffs Simona Opris, Adrian Adam, and Britney Richardson failed to state claims for negligence and breach of fiduciary duty, defendant Sincera Reproductive Medicine argued in a motion to dismiss filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
