Michigan’s consumer protection watchdog is questioning medical testing company
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) said June 5 that she’ll be sending letters to Quest and its vendors about the breach, involving New York-based American Medical Collection Agency, a third-party vendor tasked with maintaining Quest’s medical collections.
Quest announced that an unauthorized user had access to personal information including credit card numbers, bank accounts, Social Security numbers, and medical information over an 8-month period ending March 30.
