North Carolina Voter Records May Be Subject to Disclosure, Court Rules

A group that sought records related to the U.S. citizenship status of voters in North Carolina won its bid to revive claims brought under federal election law.

In a Monday ruling, a federal appeals court voided an earlier district court decision that had rejected the Public Interest Legal Foundation Inc.'s claims based on the “sensitive nature” of the information sought.
