Another wave of elected officials are demanding more information about the Quest Diagnostics Inc. and LabCorp data breaches that exposed the information of 20 million patients.
Connecticut Attorney General William Tong (D) and Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul (D) June 7 announced letters to Quest, LabCorp and American Medical Collection Agency, a New York-based third-party collections provider for the medical testing companies. The announcement came the same day Sens. Cory Booker and Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) announced a letter to AMCA.
