The record in a Massachusetts automotive data access law case is likely to be reopened after a federal judge there suggested he wanted the parties to conduct additional discovery.

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey (D) is arguing in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts that new facts have come to her attention that impact a central question in the case—whether automakers can safely comply with the new statute in time—and moved last week to reopen the record.
