Nathaniel Fick, nominated to become the top US cyber diplomat, pledged to assert the State Department’s role in government-wide efforts to combat nation-state hacks.
“Technology is the next frontier of diplomacy,” Fick, a cybersecurity executive and former Marine, told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee during a nominations hearing Wednesday.
