NIH to Search for New Hospital CEO

The NIH is searching for a new hospital chief as part of a clinical center overhaul due to safety lapses that plagued the world’s largest research organization, the agency confirmed in a May 10 statement.

The nationwide search marks the first time that the National Institutes of Health has recruited for a chief executive officer for the NIH clinical center, which historically has been overseen by a clinical center director.
