Medicaid Outcome-Based Drug Contracts Plagued By Data Snags

Some states looking to cut prescription drug costs have turned to “value” as their savior through outcome-based contracts, but state governments are hitting data snags as they try to negotiate agreements.

For over a year leaders of federal health programs have touted “value-based care” as the next step toward better care and lower costs.
