Denmark Targets Young People in New Wave of Covid Restrictions

Denmark is imposing a new set of restrictions to fight the coronavirus, as young people emerge as a key risk factor hampering efforts to bring down infections.

Health Minister Magnus Heunicke appealed to young Danes to “help get the disease under control right now,” at a briefing on Tuesday.

The government wants all 15- to 21-year-olds in and around the capital Copenhagen to be tested regularly ahead of the Christmas season.
