California employers rushing to comply with the state’s new emergency Covid-19 worker infection prevention rule now have their first guidance from the state on how to meet the regulation’s requirements.
The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health rule took effect Nov. 30 and the guidance was issued a day later.
Its 31 frequently asked questions cover such basic issues as the impact on home-based workers, testing programs, and when can employees return to work after exposure to an infected co-worker.
