3M ‘Forever Chemicals’ Case Belongs in Minnesota, 3d Cir. Says

3M Co. will get to fight in a Minnesota federal court a would-be class suit alleging it misled investors about PFAS toxicity after the company convinced the Third Circuit to overrule a district judge and order the case transferred.

A federal judge in New Jersey “clearly and indisputably erred in denying 3M’s motion to transfer,” the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit said in an unpublished order granting the manufacturing conglomerate’s petition for a writ of mandamus.
