IRS Issues 2020 Draft Form 940 and Schedule A for Puerto Rico

Draft versions of the 2020 Form 940-PR, Employer’s Annual Federal Unemployment Tax Return, and the Form 940-PR Schedule A, Multi-State Employer and Credit Reduction Information, for Puerto Rico were released July 7 by the Internal Revenue Service.

Form 940-PR is used by Puerto Rico employers to report annual federal unemployment tax liability. The draft version of the form, like its U.S. counterpart, was not substantially revised from the 2019 version of the form.
