Brazil Lower House Considers Bill on Progressive Rates for Social Contribution on Net Income

The Brazilian Chamber of Deputies Sept. 27 explained the provisions of Bill No. 1916, accepted for consideration June 6, which would establish progressive rates for social contribution on net income (CSLL) for companies with net income above 10 billion Brazilian reals (US$1.85 billion).
