T-Mobile Settles With Texas, Nevada in Suit Over Sprint Deal (1)

T-Mobile US Inc. reached settlements with two more states that had joined a muti-state antitrust lawsuit seeking to block its planned acquisition of Sprint Corp., giving the wireless carrier a boost heading into a trial over the deal next month.

The attorneys general for Texas and Nevada announced agreements Monday to pull out of a multistate lawsuit after T-Mobile made commitments on pricing, jobs and services. Mississippi and Colorado have also withdrawn from the case since it was filed in June.
