Bumble Bee Ex-CEO Loses Bid to Overturn Price-Fixing Conviction

Former Bumble Bee CEO Chris Lischewski failed to offer any arguments that would justify setting aside his criminal conviction for conspiring with executives from StarKist and Chicken of the Sea to fix the price of canned tuna, a San Francisco federal judge ruled.

“Conflicting evidence does not equate to insufficient evidence,” Judge Edward M. Chen wrote Tuesday.
