UBS, Swiss Rush to Close Credit Suisse Deal Sat Evening, FT Says

Credit Suisse, UBS and the key Swiss regulators are racing to close a deal on the merger of the banks as soon as Saturday evening, the Financial Times reportedciting people familiar with the situation.

The Swiss National Bank and regulator Finma told their international counterparts that a deal with UBS was the only option to stop a collapse in confidence in Credit Suisse, the report said.
