NYC’s Rudin Family to Buy Stamford Apartments for $150 Million

The Rudin family’s real estate firm is purchasing a luxury apartment complex in Stamford, Connecticut, in a rare expansion beyond New York City.

The firm is in contract to buy 1 Harbor Point for roughly $150 million, said people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be named discussing private negotiations. The two-tower property, built in 2015, has 239 rental units and is 96% occupied, according to marketing materials viewed by Bloomberg.

A representative for Rudin declined to comment. The seller, Building and Land Technology, didn’t respond to a request for comment.
