Wynn Companies Oppose Workers’ Bid to Revive Sex Harassment Suit

A sexual harassment lawsuit filed anonymously by nine Wynn Resorts salon workers over alleged abuse by former CEO Steve Wynn was properly dismissed as collectively pleaded and otherwise lacking, the company and an indirect subsidiary told the Ninth Circuit.

The women, who sued as Judy Does 1-9, didn’t detail the harassment each was allegedly subjected as required by Bautista v. Los Angeles County, Wynn Resorts Ltd. and Wynn Las Vegas LLC said Tuesday. The women were off-base in arguing that Bautista didn’t apply, the companies said in a brief answering the women’s appeal.
