Washington Nationals Sued Over Employee Covid Vaccine Mandate

The Washington Nationals Baseball Club LLC violated the religious rights of a minor league pitching coach and a minor league pitching coordinator when it denied them exemptions from its mandatory Covid-19 vaccination rule for employees, a lawsuit filed Monday in federal court in D.C. charges.

Lawrence Pardo and Bradly Holman say they are both devout Christian and object to Covid-19 vaccinations because they “were developed from or tested on aborted fetal cells.” Getting vaccinated would offend their “sincerely held religious beliefs,” the men said.
