Support for Trump’s Group Health Plan Rule Floods D.C. Court

The D.C. Circuit received a flood of briefs urging it to revive the Trump administration’s rule on association health plans.

The rule’s supporters include: Texas, Georgia, and 14 other red states; trade groups representing the business, restaurant, and real estate industries; and a newly-formed coalition dedicated to promoting association health plans. The groups’ June 7 supporting briefs came three days after insurance regulators in Oklahoma and Montana also voiced their support for the rule.
