Missouri Churchgoers Denied Relief from Covid Stay-at-Home Order

A group of Missouri churchgoers who challenged a St. Louis County stay-at-home order failed to show how a court could grant them relief, the Eighth Circuit said Friday, affirming a lower court’s dismissal.

Even if the churchgoers had standing to challenge the April 2020 order, any controversy over it is now moot because it has been superseded by another order, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit said.
