Los Angeles County Must Face Black Worker’s Retaliation Suit

A former employee of Los Angeles County’s Department of Public Social Services raised triable issues of fact related to whether the agency retaliated against her for speaking out against segregation in the workplace, and can proceed on that claim under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, a California state appeals court said.
