Knight-Swift Truckers Advance N.Y. Suit Over Pay For Extra Hours

A group of truck drivers may continue to litigate New York state claims that Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. failed to provide overtime and “spread of hours” pay for all hours worked, a federal judge in Manhattan ruled.

The three drivers plausibly alleged that they worked 24 hours a day, five to six days per week, and that they weren’t adequately compensated for all of these hours, Judge Analisa Torres said Wednesday.
